Without a UFC event this weekend, we get to look into our crystal ball and take an early look at some futures chances, especially the two title fights scheduled for UFC 220 (Jan. 20th, Boston). I’m literally wearing my magician hat right now [editor’s note: he really is] and that I must be, because we’re on a magic roster people! If you’re not enthusiastic about UFC 220, then you’ve got no pulse. You’re literally dead and needs to be packed with ice. How can you not be stoked to see one of the most anticipated heavyweight championship fights in UFC history? The outcome, history will be made.
Stipe Miocic will be defending his heavyweight crown from rising celebrity Francis Ngannou and I’m pretty sure someone is going to be looking up in the lights when it’s all done and said.
On the card, Daniel Cormier will soon be defending his light-heavyweight name against hard-hitting Volkan Oezdemir. Can we see an upset and the crowning of a new light-heavyweight king? Or will Cormier once more show us why he is one of the best to ever step foot in an Octagon?
